WebApr 21, 2024 · I've tried checking the databasemail logs, but the only events are event_type of information, mostly "DatabaseMail process is started", usually followed 10-20 minutes later by a "DatabaseMail process is shutting down" message. WebYou see that DatabaseMail process is started is followed immediately by an exception message, and then DatabaseMail process is shutting down is displayed. Database Mail doesn't successfully start. You don't see DatabaseMail process is started in the sysmail_event_log view. Initial troubleshooting doesn't help you resolve the problem.
