If you put in the work (not nearly as much as some of the engineering horror stories, but still a ton more than high school [*at least for first year]) then you will be fine. WebYou need AT LEAST a 2.0 in fall and an overall GPA of 2.0 combined in both semesters (i.e. a 4.0 in all and a 1.0 in Winter is technically fine) to clear Year 2 qual 2 and then you'll be placed into a discipline. Remember, if you failed Math 100, it's not unreasonable to assume you have a good chance of failing 101 the first time too.
