If a person is incapacitated but nevertheless in the workplace (e.g. on light duties) then this will be an over 7 day reportable regardless of the fact that they are not 'off work'. WebThe Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has announced that from 6th April 2012, RIDDOR’s over 3 day injury reporting requirement will change. From then the trigger point will increase from over 3 days’ to over 7 days’ incapacitation (not counting the day on which the accident happened).
